We also discovered that the kids were not able to 'Send a Note' to the others in their friends list. When they tried it went through the entire process and then when they clicked the 'Send' button it just sat there and nothing ever happened.

The problem I found to be was that there was yet another IP address being used to send notes (predefined emails). Since the IP address was not in the list of accessible sites on AOL Parental Controls, it was being blocked and the screen was just hanging.

The solution is the same as the login issue as well as the chat issue. You need to add the IP address of their "mail" server to the list of websites you grant access to for your child. The process is the same but I'm posting it again to be detailed.

So to make sure your child can send a note via Webkinz.com within AOL, you need to sign on as a master screen name and then click 'Security' and select 'Web Unlock'.

Next select the child's screen name in the drop list (this only shows those screen names not setup as General Access). Now on the left select 'Allowed Sites'. There is a button on the right side that is labeled 'Add More Sites'. Click this button. In the next window type in '66.48.69.123'. Then click 'Add'. This adds this IP address as an allowed site.
